What is portable light meter/spectrometer useful for? Who can benefit from using it?

A portable light meter/spectrometer is used to measure and analyze light’s intensity, quality, color, spectrum, and its biological effects on humans to optimize lighting for health, comfort, and well-being in any environment. It is useful for Architects, Interior Designers, Lighting designers, WELL APs, Researchers, Educators, and Professionals focused on Human-centric lighting, WELL certification, or Field measurement.

Can I use this light meter to evaluate according to the WELL standard?

Yes, you can definitely use this light meter/spectrometer to evaluate lighting according to the WELL Building Standard. Both devices are well-equipped to measure the key light metrics that WELL requires for assessing healthy and human-centric lighting environments.

Can I export the measurements data of to my personal device?

Yes, you could export the data in PDF and CSV files to your personal device or share them with others.

What does In. Licht Well do? Who is it for?

In.Licht Well is a multi-functional monitoring device designed specifically for healthy indoor environments. What’s the difference between In. Licht Well and In. Licht Ultra? Which one should I choose?

Both are designed for measuring lighting environments, but they serve different purposes:

  • In. Licht Ultra is a pocket-sized professional spectrometer focused on portable use and high precision. It’s ideal for professionals such as lighting designers and architects.
  • In. Licht Well combines light, thermal comfort and air quality monitoring in a portable wall-mount device meant for long-term use in fixed locations, providing comprehensive health monitoring for indoor spaces.

If you need to carry a device for precise measurements of various light sources, go with In. Licht Ultra. If you’re focused on overall indoor environmental quality, In. Licht Well is the better choice.

Does In. Licht Well require power? Can it be used offline?

In. Licht Well has a built-in rechargeable battery and can be powered either through a power source or used unplugged, allowing flexible placement. It supports offline use—the display panel continuously shows real-time data. To view detailed trends and historical data, connect to the mobile app via Bluetooth.

Is there an app for In. Licht Well ? How many devices can be connected at once?

Yes, In. Licht Well comes with a dedicated app (available for iOS and Android). You can connect to the device via Bluetooth to view detailed real-time and historical data. Each session supports one device at a time, but you can easily switch between multiple devices if you own more than one.

Is there a warranty? How long is it?

All In. Licht series products come with a one-year manufacturer warranty, covering product functionality and quality under normal use. Full warranty terms and coverage are detailed in the product’s included user manual.

Can I return or exchange the product if it’s defective upon arrival?

If the product you receive is visibly damaged, defective, or malfunctioning, please contact our official customer service within 7 days of receiving the item. We’ll assist you in handling returns or exchanges to ensure your rights are protected.

Is technical support available if I encounter issues after using the product?

What happens if I need repairs after the warranty period? Will it be expensive?

Even after the warranty expires, we offer repair and component replacement services. Fees are transparently quoted based on the issue, and we will confirm the cost with you before proceeding with any repairs.

Does In. Licht product need to be connected to the internet to use the app?

No. In. Licht devices connect via Bluetooth and can be used completely offline. Internet connection is not required for measurements. Users can still take measurements and export data as normal without being online.
