Very capable device for lighting design
Compact easily used device with an intuitive app. Being somewhat of an ‘analog man’, I was initially challenged by the complete lack of any documentation. I scanned the QR code on the device and downloaded the In Licht Pro app. I did experience an issue initially connecting my Android phone to the device, so I emailed customer service. The email was answered within a few hours, on a Saturday night, and the rep asked a few follow up questions. The situation was resolved shortly after, and the device connected easily. Five stars for the excellent customer service. I am still learning the various functions of the In Licht Pro, but I am favorably impressed thus far. Within minutes, I was able to check the CCT and Lux of various LED fixtures, and balance the lighting in a hallway with 12 individual LED track lights.

As an experienced lighting designer for many years, I find that In. Licht Ultra stands out from every other spectrometer I’ve used before.
First of all, its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry around on site. Second, it provides all the essential measurement metrics a lighting designer needs and most importantly, it can generate a complete measurement report effortlessly.
One of the features I value most is its Human-Centric Lighting measurements, which very few spectrometers on the market offer in such a complete way. The flicker indicator is also incredibly useful, I can instantly see whether a light source has high flicker or is flicker-free.
Another feature I truly appreciate is the step measurement function. With just one click, I can measure multiple points quickly. I still remember the days when I had to measure over 100 points manually, writing everything down on paper and later transferring it to the computer back at the office. I wish In. Licht Ultra had been available back then!
I highly recommend In. Licht Ultra to fellow lighting designers. It’s a powerful, reliable, and time-saving tool.
